Ingredients

1 Duncan Hines butter recipe golden cake mix
3/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts, divided 3/4 c. and 3/4 c.
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened

Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch rectangular baking pan.
For base, stir together in a medium bowl until well mixed the dry cake mix, melted butter or margarine and 3/4 cup pecans or walnuts.
Press mixture evenly into the bottom of prepared pan.
