Cabbage Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large minced onion
    1 head green cabbage
    1 can Campbell's consomme soup
    2 lb. beef (ground)
    1 large can kidney beans
    2 tsp. basil
    1 bay leaf
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 can Campbell's beef stock bouillon soup
    1 c. water
    5 c. tomato juice
    2 small cans tomatoes
    2 tsp. oregano
    garlic powder to taste
Preparation
    Saute minced onion, butter and shredded cabbage.
    Place the rest of the ingredients in a large pan.
    Add sauteed mixture to pan and allow to cook until done.
    You may want to change some amounts as I made this by trial and error, but it tastes real good.
