Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix (directions on box)
    2 large pkg. vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple, drained
    1 large container Cool Whip
    1 large pkg. coconut
    1 large can cherry pie filling
    12 oz. pkg. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Mix vanilla pudding following directions on box.
    Layer in punch bowl:
    1/2 cake (crumbled), 1/2 vanilla pudding, 1/2 of cherry filling, 1/2 pineapple, 1/2 Cool Whip, 1/2 coconut and 1/2 nuts.
    Repeat layer.
