Orange Slice Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. pecans, chopped
1 (8 oz.) pkg. dates, chopped
1 lb. orange slice candy, chopped
3/4 c. glazed candied cherries
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, melted
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking soda

Preparation

In a bowl, stir together the pecans, dates, candy, cherries and coconut.
Pour melted butter over mixture; stir well.
Let stand while preparing cake batter.
