Old-Fashioned Cherry Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. soft butter
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    2/3 c. evaporated milk
    2 1/2 c. (21 oz.) cherry pie filling
    1/2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Combine sugar, butter, flour, baking powder and evaporated milk.
    Mix well.
    Spread batter in 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 2 1/2-inch loaf dish.
    Spread cherry pie filling over batter.
    Pour hot water over pie filling.
    Bake in preheated oven at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
