Foolproof Oven Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. arm roast, cut in cubes
    1 onion, chopped
    2 celery stalks, chopped
    4 carrots, quartered
    5 potatoes, cubed
    3 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
    1 pkg. frozen peas
Preparation
    Grease bottom and sides of 3-quart casserole.
    Arrange layers of roast, onion, celery, carrots and potatoes in casserole. Combine salt, sugar, tapioca, tomato juice and Kitchen Bouquet in a bowl; mix well.
    Pour over top, do not stir.
    Bake at 250\u00b0 for 3 1/2 hours.
    Remove from oven.
    Add peas and bake for 30 minutes longer.
    Remove from oven and mix well.
    Cover casserole with foil before baking.
