Golden Squash Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. grated yellow squash
    2 Tbsp. grated fresh onion
    2 tsp. salt
    6 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    2 eggs
    1 Tbsp. dry sage
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Spoon mixture into hot greased skillet in patty form.
    Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until nicely browned.
    Turn and cook another 8 to 10 minutes. Serve warm.
    They are also good cold.
