Swedish Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. pecan halves
    2 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    salt
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Toast nuts in a 325\u00b0 oven until light brown.
    Fold sugar and salt into egg whites; beat until stiff peaks form.
    Fold in nuts.
