German Torte Dessert - cooking recipe

1 box German chocolate cake mix
2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 (3 oz.) pkg. instant French vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
2 cans cherry pie filling
2 (8 oz.) cartons Cool Whip
1 large milk chocolate Hershey bar
Preparation

Mix cake mix as directed on the box and spread into 2 greased 9 x 13-inch pans.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
Combine cream cheese, pudding and milk together.
Spread over the cooled cake, then layer with pie filling.
Put on layer of Cool Whip.
Shave the Hershey bar with vegetable peeler and put over the top.
