Taffy Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. orange food color (optional)
Preparation

Boil to hard ball stage.
Pour onto plates and let cool until you can handle it.
Rub hands with butter before pulling taffy. When taffy is cool enough, pull apart with hands.
The more you pull, the creamier it will get.
Shape and let stand until it gets hard.
