Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
2 c. oatmeal
1 c. raisins
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour

Preparation

In a large bowl, mix all ingredients, one at a time, to a soft dough.
Drop by teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
