Apricot Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can (about 8 oz.) unpeeled apricot halves
    6 pork chops (about 1 1/2 lb.)
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup
    1/3 c. sour cream
    2 Tbsp. chopped green onions
    cooked rice or noodles
Preparation
    Drain apricots, reserving 1/4 cup syrup.
    Cut apricots in half.
    In skillet, brown chops (use shortening, if necessary). Pour off fat.
    Stir in soup, sour cream, reserved syrup and green onions.
    Cover; cook over low heat 25 minutes or until done.
    Stir occasionally.
    Add apricots; cook 5 minutes more.
    Serve with rice.
    Makes 4 servings.
