Pickled Hot Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 peck peppers, washed and chopped
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. water
    1/2 c. oil (optional)
    3 cloves garlic (optional)
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    2 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    In a large kettle, combine ingredients.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Add peppers.
    Heat thoroughly.
    Put in jar and seal.
