Cinnamon Raisin Biscuit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted self-rising flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. shortening
    3/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. raisins
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 500\u00b0.
    Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
    Cut shortening until coarse crumbs form.
    Add milk and raisins; mix well.
    Place on lightly floured surface, knead gently 10 to 12 times.
    Roll dough and cut out biscuits.
    Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Place in oven for 10 minutes.
