Pecan Pralines(May Also Use For A Frosting.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. soda
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. pecan halves
Preparation
    Combine sugar, soda, butter milk and salt. Cook over high heat 5 minutes, stirring constantly and scraping bottom of pan. Add butter and pecans. Continue cooking until candy reaches soft-ball (cook less time for frosting). Remove from heat and cool slightly. Beat until thick and creamy. Drop by tablespoon onto wax paper and let cool.
