Freezer Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. unpeeled, sliced cucumbers
    1 onion, sliced
    2 c. vinegar
    2 Tbsp. salt
    3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers, onion and salt; let stand for 2 hours.
    Boil sugar and vinegar until sugar is dissolved.
    When cool, it will be thick.
    Drain and squeeze out all juice.
    Place in freezer boxes. Pour syrup over pickles; freeze.
    You may add celery seed and mustard seed to each box if you like.
