Pizza Margherita - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. tomatoes, peeled or 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    2 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 onion, finely chopped
    1 garlic clove, crushed
    1 Tbsp. tomato paste
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh basil
    salt and pepper
    1 to 2 Tbsp. olive oil
    4 oz. Mozzarella cheese
    6 to 8 fresh basil leaves
Preparation
    Brush crust (dough) with oil.
    Spoon topping over dough. Arrange cheese over pizza.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste, 2 to 3 basil leaves and remaining oil. Bake 20 minutes until cheese has melted and dough looks crisp and golden. Sprinkle with remaining basil leaves. Serve at once.
