Broccoli And Ham Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. chopped onion
3 Tbsp. margarine
1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 c. milk
2 c. water
2 c. broccoli florets
1 1/2 c. cubed cooked ham
Preparation

In a 3-quart saucepan, cook onion in margarine until tender; not brown. Stir in flour, bouillon granules, mustard, thyme and pepper. Add milk and water all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick and bubbly. Stir in broccoli and ham. Return to boiling. Simmer 4 to 6 minutes or until broccoli is tender.
