Sausage Alfresco - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. Hillshire Farm sausage or Polska kielbasa
    8 oz. uncooked fettuccine
    1/4 c. butter
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 minced garlic clove
    1 c. mixed carrots, zucchini, red pepper
    1/2 c. frozen peas
    1 c. heavy cream
    2 Tbsp. chopped parsley
    6 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook fettuccini and keep warm.
    Saute garlic and onion in large skillet with butter until tender.
    Add vegetables and cook until done (5 minutes).
    Set aside.
    Brown sausage and drain on paper towels.
    Combine sausage, vegetables and cream.
    Heat through, but do not boil.
    Stir in parsley, cheese, salt and pepper.
    Serve over fettuccine.
    Sprinkle with extra cheese if desired.
