Ida Duff'S Chili Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 large tomatoes, peeled
    6 peppers (3 red, 3 green)
    6 large onions
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. mustard (dry)
    3 Tbsp. salt
    1 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Chop fine and boil 1 1/2 hours the tomatoes, peppers and onions.
    Add the vinegar, sugar, mustard (wet with cold vinegar). Add the salt and spices.
    Boil 1 1/2 hours longer or until thickened. Stir occasionally.
    Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
