Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft shortening
    1 stick soft butter
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Mix remaining ingredients together and stir in .
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Roll balls into mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake for 6 minutes.
