Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round steak (about 3/4 to 1-inch thick)
    1 medium bell pepper
    1 medium onion
    1 clove garlic (more or less to taste)
    flour
    salt
    pepper
    2 cans Campbell's tomato soup
    2 soup cans water
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
Preparation
    Cut steak into serving size pieces.
    Season with salt and pepper; set aside.
    Chop vegetables.
    Heat cooking oil in heavy skillet.
    Saute vegetables.
    Remove vegetables and save.
    Dredge pieces of meat in flour.
    Brown quickly on each side.
    Drain most of fat from pan.
    Replace meat; cover with vegetables.
    Mix tomato soup with water and pour over meat and vegetables.
    Cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until sauce thickens.
    Serves 6 to 8.
