Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. dark corn syrup
1 tsp. vinegar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. butter
6 qt. popcorn
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Mix first 5 ingredients well and cook at medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is melted or until 290\u00b0 is reached on candy thermometer.
Remove from heat and stir in baking soda until syrup becomes foamy.
Pour over 4 quarts popped popcorn.
Stir until corn is well coated.
Butter hands and press corn into balls.
