Overnight Layered Green Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 head lettuce
1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions
1 c. thinly sliced celery
1 c. sliced water chestnuts
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 1/2 to 2 c. mayonnaise
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
3 hard-cooked boiled eggs, chopped
3/4 lb. bacon, chopped and crisp
3 thinly sliced tomatoes
Preparation

Shred the lettuce and place in a shallow 9 x 13-inch serving glass dish. Top lettuce with green onions, then celery and water chestnuts. Open the package of frozen peas and break apart. Sprinkle frozen peas evenly over salad.
Spread mayonnaise evenly over the top. Sprinkle with sugar, Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt and garlic powder. Cover and chill in refrigerator for as long as 24 hours.
