Gherkin Salat - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 qt. sliced cucumbers, peeled or unpeeled
    2 medium onions, sliced in rings
    few sprigs parsley
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white vinegar
    sour cream
    dill weed
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers as thin as possible by hand or in food processor.
    Slice onions.
    Tear up parsley.
    Sprinkle salt over all and stir well.
    Add 3 or 4 ice cubes.
    Cover and let set for several hours.
    Drain in colander and rinse with cold water.
    Drain very well.
