Hot Water Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. white corn meal
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    water
    1/2 c. cooking oil
Preparation
    Combine corn meal,
    flour, salt and baking powder.
    Add hot water until
    a
    smooth
    mixture.
    Spoon
    out into a frypan that oil has been
    heated
    in.
    Brown
    on
    one
    side, then the other. Total cooking time approximately 10 to 15 minutes over a medium fire.
