Grilled Herbed Salmon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. cracked pepper
    4 (4 oz.) salmon steaks (3/4-inch thick)
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 lemon, thinly sliced
    vegetable cooking spray
    1 bunch fresh thyme (about 1/2 oz.)
    lemon slice (optional)
    fresh thyme sprigs (optional)
Preparation
    Press pepper onto both sides of salmon with onion and lemon slices.
    Set aside.
    Coat grill rack with cooking spray.
    Place on grill over medium-hot coals.
    Arrange fresh thyme on grill rack. Place salmon on fresh thyme.
    Cover and cook 10 to 12 minutes or until flakes easily when tested with fork.
    Transfer to a serving platter, discarding thyme and lemon slices.
