Strawberry Angel(Serves 16) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 pt. whipping cream
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
    2 c. boiling water
    1 (9 1/2 x 4-inch) angel food cake
Preparation
    Mix gelatin and boiling water. Add sugar and stir until dissolved.
    Add frozen strawberries (sweetened), stirring occasionally.
    When berries are thawed and mixture begins to thicken, add whipping cream (I used 16 ounce size whipped topping).
