Beef And Bean Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. ground beef
    3 Tbsp. bacon fat
    garlic to taste
    1 1/4 c. minced onion
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 c. canned tomatoes, not drained
    2 c. kidney beans, drained
    3/4 c. rice
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown beef in fat.
    Add garlic, onion, pepper and chili powder. Stir to blend well.
    Cook 5 minutes.
    Add tomatoes, beans and rice. Salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours. Serves 8.
