Company Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) cans cut green beans, drained
    1 (15 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of celery soup, undiluted or you may use cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. sour cream
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter or oleo, melted
    3/4 c. saltine cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. sliced almonds, toasted (optional)
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    In a bowl, combine beans, corn, soup, sour cream, cheese and onion.
    Pour into an ungreased 2-quart baking dish.
    Combine butter, cracker crumbs and almonds; sprinkle over vegetables. Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes or until bubbly. Yields 6 to 8 servings.
