Hidden Apple Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    2 (7.5 oz.) cans Pillsbury biscuits
    1/2 c. margarine, melted
    1 apple, peeled, cored and cut into 20 slices, 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick
    1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    2 to 3 tsp. milk
Preparation
    Grease pan.
    Combine sugar, nuts and cinnamon in bowl. Separate biscuits and dip into melted butter, then into sugar mixture.
    Arrange biscuits, putting apple slice between each biscuit.
    Bake 25 to 35 minutes at 400\u00b0 or until brown.
    Cool upright in pan for 2 minutes.
    Combine sugar, vanilla and milk and beat until smooth.
    Drizzle over cake.
    Yields 10 servings.
