Texas Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 or 2 large onions, sliced
    1 large green pepper, minced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 c. cooked tomatoes
    3/4 c. uncooked rice
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. salt
    1 c. tomato sauce
Preparation
    Cook
    onions and pepper until onions are
    yellow
    in
    3 tablespoons
    butter.
    Add ground beef until
    lightly
    browned. Stir in cooked tomatoes, uncooked rice,
    chili powder, pepper, salt
    and tomato sauce.
    Pour into\tgreased
    casserole;
    cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Remove cover last 15 minutes.
