Hasty Butterscotch Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/3 c. milk
    1 lb. sifted confectioners sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt butter or margarine in saucepan over low heat.
    Blend in brown sugar.
    Boil over low heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Stir in milk; cook until mixture comes to a boil. Gradually add confectioners sugar and vanilla.
    Beat until of spreading consistency. Thin with milk, if necessary.
