Barbecue Beef On A Bun - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless beef chuck or rump roast
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. water
    1 c. finely chopped onion
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1/2 c. finely chopped green pepper
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    1/2 tsp. Tabasco sauce
    4 large buttered buns
Preparation
    Dry roast on paper towels.
    In a deep, heavy pot, heat oil and add roast.
    Brown on all sides.
    Add all the other ingredients. Cover and simmer slowly over medium to low heat for 3 to 4 hours until beef can be easily shredded.
    With two forks, shred the beef and mix into the sauce.
    Taste and add salt, if necessary. Serve on hot buttered buns.
