New England Clam Chowder And Scallops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. bay scallops
    1 pt. (2 c.) clams with liquid
    3 c. peeled and diced cooked potato
    5 slices bacon, cooked and diced
    1/2 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. flour
    1 c. light cream or milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice
Preparation
    Tip:
    Three 5 or 6 ounce cans of chopped clams in juice may be used instead of fresh clams.
