Perfect Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. milk
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
    1/4 c. soft butter
Preparation
    Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and stir in cornmeal.
    Add eggs, milk and shortening.
    Beat until smooth.
    Do not overbeat.
    Pour into greased 9 x 9 x 12-inch pan.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Can double the recipe and pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan and bake a little longer.
