Popcorn Cake Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

8 c. freshly popped popcorn, unsalted
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. finely packed brown sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. butter or margarine
1 c. candy coated chocolate pieces
1 c. Spanish peanuts
1 c. miniature marshmallows
Preparation

Place popcorn in a large bowl and set aside.
Combine sugar, syrup, water, vinegar and salt in a large saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until mixture reaches hard ball stage (260\u00b0). Remove from heat. Add butter, stirring until butter melts.
Pour syrup in a thin stream over popcorn, stirring until popcorn is evenly coated.
Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well.
Press mixture into a well-greased 6-cup ring mold.
Cool. Unmold on serving plate.
