Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can tomatoes, chopped
    3 bottles clam juice
    3 cans minced clams
    1 onion, minced
    3 strips bacon, cut up
    3 celery stalks, chopped
    3 carrots, chopped
    1 potato, cubed
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    thyme to taste
Preparation
    Fry bacon, add onion.
    Saute until clear.
    Add potato and clam juice.
    Cook on medium for 10 minutes.
    Add rest of ingredients. Bring to boil.
    Cook on medium for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
