Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs
1/2 box brown sugar
1/2 stick butter or oleo
1 c. chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 (9-inch) unbaked pastry shell
dash of salt
pecan halves
Preparation

Beat eggs; add sugar, dash of salt and melted butter.
Add vanilla and pecans.
Pour into pastry shell.
Decorate top with pecan halves.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
