2 Tbsp. raisins, currants, snipped pitted dates or dried mixed fruit bits
2 Tbsp. finely chopped walnuts or pecans
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
3/4 c. apple juice
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 small cooking apples
Preparation

Filling:
Combine raisins, currants, dates or fruit bits, the nuts, brown sugar and cinnamon; set aside.
