Elephant Tracks - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. milk (whole)
1 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
rind of 1 lemon, grated
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
4 beaten eggs
3 pkg. yeast
2 tsp. salt
about 10 c. flour or enough to make soft dough
Preparation

Heat milk, butter and sugar to warm stage.
Add lemon rind, nutmeg and beaten eggs, yeast (dissolved in a small amount of warm water), salt and flour.
Let rise once.
Roll out dough as for cinnamon rolls.
Spread with butter, sugar and cinnamon.
Roll up as for jelly roll.
Cut in 1/2-inch sections.
Lay sections in sugar and cinnamon mixture on a wax paper and roll very thin with a rolling pin.
They will be real flat.
Bake at once in a 350\u00b0 oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
