Butternut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. butternut flavoring
    2 1/2 c. cake flour
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs for one minute at half speed. Add 1 cup flour and beat for 1 minute.
    Add 1 cup of milk alternately with rest of flour.
    Add flavoring.
    Bake 1 hour at 325\u00b0.
    Increase heat to 350\u00b0 and continue baking for 10 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
