German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 large potatoes, peeled and diced
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
1 large onion, diced
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
Preparation

Brown bacon and onion.
Stir in diced potatoes.
Simmer and cover 15 minutes.
Mix vinegar, sugar and water together.
Pour half of mixture over potatoes.
Let simmer off.
Stir often.
Pour rest of mixture over potatoes and let simmer off again (uncovered).
Stir often.
