Chicken And Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small hen or 2 fryers
    1 pkg. narrow noodles
    1 c. chopped celery
    2 cans chicken soup
Preparation
    Cook hen until tender, cool and slice.
    Cook noodles as directed on box.
    Cook celery until tender in about 1 1/2 cups chicken broth.
    Blend this with your soup.
    If frozen chicken is used and you don't have broth, cook celery in water.
    Drain, add to soup and then dilute soup with 1 cup milk.
    In a greased casserole, put layer of noodles and remainder of soup.
    Add small amount of sherry.
    Sprinkle with cracker crumbs and dot with butter.
    Cook at about 350\u00b0 until bubbly.
