Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. solid all vegetable shortening
    1 c. milk
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Add flour into mixing bowl.
    Add salt, baking powder, shortening, milk and eggs.
    Mix with a spoon until thoroughly mixed.
    Knead mixture with floured hands on floured wax paper. Divide into 3 balls.
    Roll each ball out thin and cut into strips. Cook hen tender; cover hen with water in a big pot.
    Season with salt, pepper, celery and onion.
    Bring to a boil and cook until tender.
