Turkey-Bean Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1 c. chopped onion
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can Mexican style chili beans (undrained)
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. ground cumin
commercial sour cream (optional)
chopped green onions (optional)
Preparation

Combine the first 3 ingredients in a 3-quart casserole.
Cover and microwave at High 5 to 6 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink, stirring once.
Drain well.
Add tomato sauce, beans, salt, pepper, chili powder and cumin.
Cover; microwave at High 10 to 12 minutes, stirring after 6 minutes.
If desired, garnish with sour cream and green onions.
Yields 5 cups.
