Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. white Karo
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Mix sugar, soda, milk and syrup.
    Pour into a 2-quart boiler and let reach a soft ball or 238\u00b0.
    Add butter and vanilla, then beat until it is thick enough to drop from a teaspoon.
