Overnight Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    1/4 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until foamy.
    Gradually add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time, beating until stiff peaks form.
    Add flavorings; mix well.
    Fold in pecans and chocolate chips.
    Drop by heaping teaspoon onto an aluminum foil lined cookie sheet.
    Place in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Turn oven off.
    Let stand for 8 to 10 hours or overnight (do not open oven).
    Store in airtight container.
    Yields 4 dozen.
