Carrot Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. Wesson oil
    1 1/2 c. sifted plain flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. grated carrots
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Mix sugar and oil.
    Add sifted dry ingredients and carrots.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add nuts and blend well.
    Pour into oiled loaf pan.
    Bake for 55 to 60 minutes.
    Cover cake with foil during first 20 minutes of baking to prevent cracking.
