Cabbage Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, shredded
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large chopped onion
    1 green pepper
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. dry oregano
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 c. Mozzarella cheese
Preparation
    Steam
    (or
    cook
    and
    drain)
    cabbage 8 to 10 minutes. Combine beef, onion and pepper and cook over medium heat until beef
    is
    brown
    and
    vegetables
    are tender; drain well.
    Add paste,
    sauce and spices; mix well. Spoon half of cabbage into greased baking dish (12 x 9 x 2-inch). Cover with half of meat mixture;
    repeat.
    Cover
    and
    bake
    at
    350\u00b0
    for 25 minutes. Uncover
    and
    sprinkle
    with cheese and bake 5 minutes longer. (Delicious with cornbread.)
